Stuck at the 3rd encounter with the batwing

I've played this section 14 times now and it just keeps on killing me. I'm shooting it point blank with my 2 barrel shottie but it's not working. I never know where it is coming from. Unless there is something I'm missing I'm just about ready to give up on this game. Not enjoying it at all.

iirc, when he charges you, you only have to shoot him until he flinches. Make him flinch enough times and he'll go down. You gotta shoot the swarms of little bats that come at you to disperse them which stops them from doing damage.

Fire ammo does really well with this and there are hints for where here is coming from with the dust clouds it stirs up.

You can pinpoint his location by observing the trees, he dislocates the vegetation when he's moving through it, and there's also the fog, keep an eye on that as well, it's another indication of his location.

Move around a lot and observe the bats, trees and dust.

Ok fellas time to have another go at it. Thanks for all of the good suggestions , I especially liked the video, I could see now what you meant by watching for the dust or fog whatever it is. Can't wait to have another crack at it.

Well I made it this time although it took me another 5 times. I kept looking for the fog /dust to form like it showed in your video Jig but it didn't do that for me, I still couldn't get a clue just where it was coming from. Could that be due to the graphics and the card I'm using on a PC.
