The ending of Metro:Last Light Redux said the Dark ones will be come back to Earth

A Dark one is visible on Caspian after smoking a hookah where the Bastard 100 round mag is found (i think it's a 100 mag) and another can be seen in Novosibirsk. Dark Ones need high rads to survive, that's why they're not seen a lot outside of heavy rad areas like cities that were targeted.

You can see a few of them. They aren't a major part of the story though. They know to let humanity ♥♥♥♥ itself.

You can see a few of them in the dead city metro. In the beginning when you're trying to get inside the station. There are a few dark ones but you can only see them with your NOD.

i'm not talking the Drak ones who is dead because in the ending of Metro:Last Light Redux said they promised to come back.If they did't appear in this metro(i mean the alive one) i thought the game producer will be launch a new game talk about the new story

I think they will come back in full shape in the next metro, also Khan too. But they helped Artyom during his hallucination in the dead city by appearing as Anna, cheer him up and guide the way in his mind. They even said sorry when they cause Artyom to fall down on the final elevator

Yea that makes sense cause the Dark Ones need a high radiation place to live, for the whole game, Dead City is the highest radiation zone and the only level that he hallucinated.

It's not his self-thought cause the "Anna" in his mind seems to know the exact way, the little Dark One is trying to communicate and help.

The one that helps Artyom is the little one from Last Light, you can catch a glimpse of him in Caspian and also on the roof of a building in Dead City too. The little Dark One looking down for a brief second as Artyom goes up the surface as if he's leading the way into the building.

Also, the Dark One trying to lead Miller to Artyom too, remember when he said he found Artyom but doesn't know how? - That's how the Dark One pays the debt to Miller for opening the airlock to wake up his kin back in D6.
