Caspian slave ship Yellow lever
Hey guys , once you beat the armored guy with the minigun in the slave ship you are supposed to activate two different lever , the first one that is on the top next to a blue light ( the bigger lever ) and a smaller lever (a yellow one ) that is supposed to save the guy that is sitting in the right cage on the opposite side , the problem is i can't interact with this lever , it is in lower position like it has already been activated but how ? So now the last slave is stuck in the cage and i cannot save him , is this a bug ?
Look at picture to see what lever i'm talking about :

I don't recall. Maybe you have to hit it early, like before one of the enemies does something.

Hey Jig , it seems like you can activate it just after the big lever to free the underground slaves , in many videos i've seen , the player interact with it just after beating the armored minigun guy , there is no specific order to activate it , it is already in the lower position like if someone has already done something with it , weird , i don't want to restart the chapter just because of this .

Those three cages are open so that guy can leave whenever he wants. 'Normally' when the lever is up the cages are open and when it's down the cages are closed. Looks bugged but the cages are open so pull the other lever and free the people downstairs. Hopefully it'll work.

In my gameplay , the lever is in lower position so the cage are closed , but there is no interaction with it , the people downstairs have already been released , only this one give me some trouble , i tried to play with the power panels to see but still nothing , should i just move on and forget bout this guy or it is important to free him ?

There's a karma point to gain that's normally awarded when you release the people downstairs. (Flash of light and chirp noise) If you got the point when you released the downstairs people move on. Else quit the game, start and load a save and see if interact works. Because those cages are normally open I usually flip that switch twice. Down for closed and back up for open.
Call me superstitious. I don't know why we're supposed to throw that lever unless a guard is supposed to lock those cages during an attack but he never does (for me) but the gameplay still requires it. edit: I normally do that switch first btw.

I just worked out why that lever is normally up for me. If you wait long enough there's some dialogue and the guard near that switch closes the cages but I don't wait for that dialogue anymore and he's the first guard I take out because he's the most likely to see me on the opposite upper walkway. Mystery solved, for me anyway.
Just out of curiosity, do you have this games cloud sync enabled?

Hmm interesting , maybe it's the guard that causing the trouble or he is able to cause the bug/glitch by closing the cage at first before you can interact with the switch ? And no cloud sync is disabled cause i had a corrupted save at some point because of it . And i just finished the caspian map , got damir and new order success so i think this guy in the cage is useless no matter what . Thanks anyway but if i try a new game + i'll def try your suggestion by avoiding the guard to play with the switch at first .

I think the games 'planned' design is that we listen to that dialogue and let the guard close the cages and then we in turn, after overcoming resistance, open them again. You're probably right in that it's the guards interaction that's causing it to stall but there is an 'interact bug' that's affected different people across the various maps and unfortunately you happen to be one of them. Luckily, so far I haven't.
Because that mission is a kill all type of mission I suspect any alert will stop that dialogue from occurring. That's a guess though.
I like to molotov the two guys working downstairs then race up the ladder and hide on that upper walkway. 9/10 everybody goes on alert but nobodies sure whats happening, shoot a couple light bulbs for confusion and that guard too and we have mayhem. "he's over there" "he's up there" "he's in the library with a fire poker" Dummies. I want to say, "no I'm not, I'm behind you" (stab stab)

In my play through he stayed in the cage, didn't even leave. There is probably a power source you need to turn on before operating the lever.

He always stays but there's no power source for that lever, OP's hit a bug.

Ah ok. I remember a surge of electricity sparking off the cages each time I opened it. Caspian is such a good level, would be interesting to have more missions with Anna. Listening to her dialogue I thought she would rush in with me rather than just an overwatch. That sniping engagement was excellent on the way.
