Game is unplayable with controller, sensitivity capped insanely low.
Bought the game wanting to play with a controller, only to find the max sensitivity is on par with what a sensitivity of "1" is in a Halo game.

The ironic part is it lets you crank it up to insane speeds if you play with mouse and keyboard. But I didn't buy the game to play with mouse and keyboard, and since it's unplayable with a controller, I'll be returning this game.

You misunderstand, I adjusted the controller sensitivity. It's still so slow it is unplayable. You turn as a rate of maybe 30 degrees per second. Whereas with a M&K you can do a full 360 in a quarter second.

The devs inability to implement proper sensitivity controls, that other games have already been doing for 2 decades has earned them my refund.

Good for you!

I can always tell a player that uses controller on youtube with FPS games as the sluggish jerky movements and slow reflex time is all to obvious and painful to watch frankly.
Outside of 3rd person games and driving games people should at least consider honing skills on m&k as it is a much more enjoyable experience imo.

But refund if you must.

return it now, theres a 10% chance you'll encounter other reasons its unplayable other than controller support

pretty sure dude got a win with a refund, if they so chose. publisher is going to suck regardless. if they had ethics then yeah, they would be devastated, because this game is unsupported and unfinished.
there is probably a config file somewhere that will let you adjust the sensitivity, just like going borderless window mode and all that jazz regardless.

Congratulations on your profoundly uninsighttful, asinine comments.

Congratulations on missing the point of my post entirely.

Probably, from all of the reviews I've seen. And regardless I shouldn't have open and mess with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ config files to adjust settings that games like Halo: Combat Evolved have properly implemented since 2001.

dude, this game is seriously broken for the people who want to play it, and your comment implies that one should go through the ordeal of setting up memory managers in ms-dos to play modern games, i mean himem.sys isnt something anyone should know about when trying to play a game on steam, that was released a year prior on a different distribution platform.
me and the boys with 2080ti's having issues playing this game for real. but i can load up metro 2033 with my bootleg ass ryzen 3700 and 2080ti and 3d vision injected in those drivers which isnt supported and have no problems.
i hope all the next games work out for all of us. fun fact this game didnt work out for fixed hardware xbox one's, go figure. FIXED HARDWARE, it's like they had no testers for that release.

It's seriously fun. (^.^)
But so is watching people rage and demand others join their crusade.

When in trouble, or in doubt... pound the keyboard, scream and shout!

How am I raging or demanding others join me? I'm voicing a glaring issue with the game that many others have, and saying that I refunded it as a result. That's what forums exist for. You seem like you have the mental faculties of an 11-year-old.

Well you seem like the incredibly unhelpful sort, when your comment consists of nothing other than insulting people who play FPS with controllers and tell them to use mouse and keyboard instead.

All I said is watching controllers on youtube is painful to watch or words to that effect and people should consider honing k&m skills for fps games. I quoted nobody and made no suggestion to any player in specific.
If people yourself included take exception to what amounts to me thinking out loud on a public forum that's their\your issue but I have no axe to grind here, have paid for the game and have every right to post here.

key words " should at least consider" also " imo"
EDIT:
Oh wait , I was mistaken "refund if you must" that I did direct at OP.

Which controller are you using? XB or PS? There are a few fixes for controllers.
On second thought forget it. Bye-Bye.

What's worst is the differing x and y axis. The last 2 games was the same though, slow af turning with controller and just in general poor implementation of it. Taking 8 seconds to turn around is agonizing.
