So we saw a new shotgun and a crossbow, i hope we see some pre war weapons like a PKM or SVD too.

Also i hope we see all our old weapons to like the Ashot, Clapper and RPK

There are so many Pre war weapons they can add. Possible Pre war weapons: Pistols: TT pistol, makarov. Submachine gun: PPsh, Skorpion. Rifles: Mosin Nagant, Tokarev SVT, SKS. Machine Gun" Degtyaryov. Assault Rifles: Federov Avtomat, A-91, AEK 971,STG 44 plus all the different AK versions.

Actually, the gun in the trailer isn't new. It is very likely a Shambler ("Revolver-Type-Magazine", similar barrel/handguard, and of course its a shotgun).

im pretty sure flamethrowers will exist since both metro games have flamethrowers as the main defense that stations have against the nosalis (mutated creatures with fur that run on all 4's).

The Shotgun isnt new, its the uboinik also called "shambler"

i doubt we will see any nato guns like that though it would be cool. I mean in the books its hinted there was a small conventional war after the nukes so it would be cool to come across the aftermath and find afew rare nato guns ammo

-playing on ranger mode, hoarding those MGR's like a jew, using only shotgun and crossbow rounds, throwing knives
-ends up finishing the game with 1000+ MGR's
-mission accomplished.

i use the MGR's as normal ammo with my RPK, only the best bullets for such a fine weapon
