Ranger Hardcore: Frequency of autosave feature is scarce.

It worked just fine in the previous games because they were linear but in Exodus you can go around and explore for like an hour, clear places, find 3 guns, etc, and still get no Autosaves which is a complete bummer. If your PC crashes or you need to go because of whatever, then F. The only thing I can think of is trying to find a way to enable quicksave for Ranger Hardcore mode. Any ideas?

You can enable manual saving for regular HC, but I have no idea if that would work on Ranger HC.
The scarcity of autosaves can really ruin your progress sometimes, true. But I kinda prefer it that way, I guess. I have a bad habit of saving every two minutes with manual saving in any game pretty much and it feels kinda... cheaty, too easy.

On Ranger HC your best bet is to progress in the story, or rest at a bed. Waiting for the game to save for you can take a while. Thank the Lord I've had a single crash only in my 72hrs of playtime.

Use the rest areas to manually save.
