Metro Exodus Ranger Update is now live!

We’re very happy to announce the release of the ‘Ranger Update’ - our first major patch for Metro Exodus, for all platforms. This is a significant update that adds a host of new features, makes improvements across the board and addresses numerous bugs and issues.

We’d like to thank our players for your help in identifying these issues. Our goal has always been to ship the most polished product we can at launch, but we humbly acknowledge that some things can slip through even the most thorough QA. Thank you again for your patience and support.

Спасибо что починили DLSS. он конечно все еще немного мылит(самую малость)
но это значительно лучше чем тот ад в который он превращал игру до этого.
я считаю что нынешнее его замыливание вполне допустимая жертва для той производительности которую он дает.
хоте нет предела совершенству)
ждем новых патчей)
и за новую игру + огромное спасибо)

I just played a few hours-- new DLSS is a win. Before I couldn't play DLSS with HDR due to the bug (fixed now). Currently running max settings in 4k with DLSS and HDR, mostly hovers around 60 fps but sometimes dipping below 50.

PLEASE make it possible to lower the volume of the weapon noises. They are very loud and i have to tune down the whole volume of the game, but that really hurts the inversion. Weapon noises are extremly loud compared to everything else in the game.

HDR + DLSS is now workong together????? It's just no HDR anymore!!! WTF? Everywhere an orange filter: sun, skin, everywhere. Where it was before white colour- now it's brite blue, before like that was just in Intro, now everywhere. It's because no more HDR, like kontent without HDR is forced to be played in HDR.

Game no longer launches after this update. Reinstalled, tried running as administrator, but nothing works. Steam says the game is running, the exe is clearly in task manager, but even if I stop the exe Steam still thinks I'm playing the game and I have to stop Steam too.
Edit: Restarted my pc and it deleted the exe. Tried validate files and it started to loop. Just gonna uninstall until next patch I guess.
Edit 2: I did a fresh install (again) and my antivirus finally told me it had been blocking the exe. Make an exception and it works now.

Hardcore ranger no~hud playthrough.

If you don't play with subtitles and then enable them mid~game it gets stuck on same lines somewhere in beginning of level/game.

Restarting does not help. Disabling and enabling does not help either. It is stuck no matter what on these two lines.

Works beautifully! Finally can run the game maxed out (with occasional drops below 50 fps)
