Here's a fix for lag and stuttering in Metro Exodus

And for added bonus disable nvidia gimpworks (tessellation and hairworks) this will get you about 50% fps gain on AMD cards and about 30% on Nvidia Cards

Hairworks can add some stutter on scenes where it is excessively used (like the first wolf/bear encounter). Tessellation is especially hard on AMD cards (as usual). Phsyx is currently limited to the CPU (so you card don't matter).

Other than that, there isn't much to be had.

Stuttering can be fixed by disabling Vsync in Game and using the video card control panel to set it, its not the hairworks and tesselation like everyone says it is, I have those on without a issue

Funny thing I have most of that stuff on as well when the game first came out and I only got these stutters during in game cut scenes but after the first patch the whole game turned into a slideshow after a while of playing and I found turning my Vsync to full helped which is odd as I always turn it off in every game for some reason this game can't sync with my screen frames.
