Tsarfish Karma (spoilers)

So, do I get bad karma for killing this thing?
Its already been done. But I'm curious. Does killing it cause you to lose karma? I mean, the fish (and it's high priest) seemed like a pair of ♥♥♥♥♥.
Or was I supposed to let it live?

I killed the fish and saved all the characters and got the good ending so don't be worried...

It doesn't have any effect on anything. nothing after that mentions that you killed it and it doesn't have any karma effect. It's just an extra thing to get an achievement.

Doesn't the game give little in game hints like sound effect for each karma point?

Some of the major decision points, but not for everything.

I'm pretty sure you need to kill the fish how else do you get the train car out pretty sure the track it goes on is turned side ways making it impossible to take the train out without killing the fish?

You have to specifically lure it to kill it and it's totally optional. Killing it is mentioned in the journal, but doesn't affect the Volga ending.

I didnt kill this fish in my first playthrought, I kinda traped it and got a Wagon.

Completly optional, but killing the fish - the video sequence, was fun to see.

Ahh yes I guess you can just turn the track without killing the fish guess I'll spare it on my second run ironic considering I'm going to be murdering everyone on my second run.
