Is Exodus Online-Mode only?

To avoid further spoilers in the discussions and after alot of unclear answers, im opening a discussion

Can you play Exodus in offline mode? do you always have to be connected to the internet for it?

Also read that you can just easily add it as a non-steam game to the steam launcher...


There is alot of hate, mostly people who dont inform themselves too much about it and just jump on the hate train and write hate reviews, tell me, is it really that bad or is it over exaggerated?

Yes, you can play the game in offline mode, until Denuvo decides it want you to go back online some days to weeks later, then you can go back to playing in offline mode till denuvo decides...
This is true for the Steam version as well.

You can add Epic version of Metro Exodus as a non steam game to Steam by attaching the executable of the game, the correct executable, and play through Steam and don't even need to run the Epic launcher when playing it.

This could misplace your save game, but it works and problem is easily solved. I suggest you stick to the same launcher for the rest of the campaign to avoid this tough.
