there is no official statement of this beeing the last
Ghlukovsky said the games can continue after the book's end
I want more Metro games :)
also yes i tried the community mod
but i want a real NG+ and i would pay 10 bucks for it
I hope it doesn't, it would mean that content was cut to be put into dlc : /
It might, or it might not. Either way, it would make the game longer, which would be great.
If you get the good ending, Artyom implies that he will go rescue the rest of the Moscow metro inhabitants at some point. So MAYBE that could work as a sequel as long as there are no train rides.
Yea it was the ending I got on my first fun. It's basically an ending that says Artyom will be back for another game. I was really hoping to see Pavel and some of the other folks from the Metro that we saw around in the last games in Exodus. But sadly that wasn't the case. Maybe the fourth game will be about going back to the Metro for the final time. First Artyom and the crew will look around the nearby areas from Lake Baikal and then the final area will be Moscow. Return to the place where it all started and finish it. Confront Hanza and save the people. That would make for an amazing final game in Artyom's story and after that. We could have a new story with a new cast of characters. Maybe Poland will be one of the locations? That's as long we will be done with Russia, there's still so much more to explore in Russia. Saint Petersburg, Omsk, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Chelyabinsk and so much more. But if the developers will be tired of making a 5th game after that in Russia again. They could try Poland. Why Poland? Because Poland is the second most popular location in the Metro universe. Many of the Russian novels from the Universe of Metro 2033 have been translated with more on the way, while plenty of new ones (written by Polish authors) have also been added to the series. I think that this could be a really cool new idea and it would amass an even bigger following. Also seeing what factions, weapons, mutants all linger in the Polish wasteland would be really interesting to uncover.
For now this is the last game of the series until they do something new or Ghlukovsky does another book.
He's said the games can continue beyond the books.
