Stuck on Dead City room

Can't move that wheel anymore, the E button doesn't show anymore, got bugged and the train's door won't open so I'm stuck in the room. Please help.

Can you reload?

I had a similar thing happen at a ladder and I just turned the game off and reloaded, then the E returned.

I had same issue, I even reloaded game and it didn't work. And then I shot my railgun in anger and it worked. Specifically - I aimed here https://imgur.com/a/HV3YYgb.

I'm sure this is a bug and not supposed to work this way but hey I didn't have to start the level over.

You have to hold E, not just press it.

Well, unfortunately I had to reload the whole chapter in order to get rid of this bug. But it didn't afect the story progressions because Metro Exodus stores saves for each chapter so your moral/ karma system and story progression is unaffected. Still a bug that needs to be fixed.

lol, that's funny, well for me I reload the level and finished the game with no problem but still, they need to patch this.

Yes in my case I was holding it, the little circle would rotate and fill up and then it would cancel out.

My gosh dude, I got the Damir bug and had to replay the summer chapter, and now this piece of ♥♥♥♥ lock doesn't open. I tried shooting it too like you showed.

Oh my god, nice game design right there. Lost minutes killing monsters looking for something else. Mainly because the first try opening it a monster would appear out of no where behind me and hit my ass. So I guessed I was doing something wrong and should clean the room before attempting to open this thing. Oh boy a was wrong...
