Missing Executable
So, I finally had some time to try Metro Exodus today. I go to click play and... no executable?
Verifying integrity doesn't work. Removing the game and reinstalling doesn't work.
I read in in a few other topics that it can be due to Avast, which I don't use so that can't be it for me. (The only AV I use is Windows Defender, and that doesn't list any removals.)

What is going on here? Anyone know how to fix this?

chech your antivirus chest avast is flagging file with behaviour shield. You can restore it and put it in an exception list.

protection tab - virus storage metroexodus.exe and click on restore and make exception.
I have avast and the games .exe kept getting sent to the Quarentine folder each time I tried to run it. Add to add the .exe as an exception in Avast.

1: Open Windows Defender Security Center from the system tray area.
2: Once opened, click on the first menu option that says “Virus & threat protection”.
3: Now look for ‘Scan History’ just below the title and description.
4: Once you are inside ‘Scan History’, look for ‘Quarantined Items’ and then click on ‘See Full History’ to view all the quarantined items.
5: You can easily remove quarantined items by hitting the Remove button. Otherwise, you can restore them back by clicking on the Restore button.

Add Exclusions in Windows Defender Security Center
1: Open Windows Defender Security Center from the system tray area.
2: Click on ‘Virus & threat protection’.
3: Now open, ‘Virus and threat protection settings’.
4: Scroll to the bottom and find ‘Exclusions’. Click on ‘Add or remove exclusions’.
5: Now hit the Plus button and choose they type of exclusion you want to add. I am adding a file exclusion for reference.

I know how Windows Defender works, but it hasn't blocked anything.
Nothing in the quarantine at all.

I simply never got the file during the download, and no matter how many times I redownload it never gives me the files I need.

there is tread on 1st page about deep silver tech support. IDK why you have no exe if nothing dellete it. Cause there were some proplems like this on launch of the game but they were fixed.
