Where's the device mentioned by the saved villager?

Hi guys, after saving the villager from the tower's bandits, he told me that there's a device I could use on the islet nearby said tower. However, I can't find it. Where is it?

Should be the one who gives you a key right? If so then you can use said key when you have to get the passenger part for the train. It'll open a door and there is that (highly useful) part he was talking about

You can only go there when the quest line tells you to go there for the train cart. It's Night Vision goggles in the room upstairs.

This one was confusing, I thought he meant on a nearby island that had a question mark showing on the map when I first got the key. But as Morbid says it's inside the nearby main quest location.

The device the villager you saved at the tower is talking about is for the battery charge controller on a little island just south of the tower. It's the house with the 2 fishermen chatting on the dock behind it. You don't get or need a key for this one.

You can actually get that one on the mission when you rescue the engineer on the big boat.
