How the ♥♥♥♥ do you beat the stupid ass bear fight

The second time you fight the dumbass copy pasted bear fight, how are you supposed to win? i have very low health and no heals so 1 hit automatically kills me. weapons dont hurt it, and apparently im supposed to get hit for a cutscene, yet getting hit at all will just kill me

Just simply shoot at the bear, kite, throw some equipment, and repeat that rotation. You may also use Holster to sprint faster.

i spent almost an hour just shooting and using molotov on bear over and over, nothing happens until it eventually hits me which kills me since i have low health and no heals. this is such a poorly designed boss fight CRAP why can't I just use the zipline to skip this nonesne. I cant progress

the first tiem you met the bear?

just kill it, shoot, throw grenade,s, etc or escape
second time, same, shoot to kill, use grenades, deal damage, and then be near the zipline, the end of the map, near Alyoshia

I do but there is no workbench and as soon as I load my save the bear is there charging at me so i have no time to look around

You can use your backpack to craft medkits but you're going to have to react quick before the bear catches you.

You don't need a work bench to craft medkits, you just have to be fast, try throwing a molotov before he charges, that might buy you enough time to craft 1. Its that or load a previous quick save or restart the level over.

Okay so somebody needed to post the ACTUAL SOLUTION. You can shoot the bear with every bullet or bolt you have and it is not gonna do a thing to trigger the cutscene. Instead just pick up the one Molotov on the body near where you start and the other two molotovs near the campfire. Use a Molotov and shoot the bear until the fire dies out. Do this about 3 times and then get hit and boom. cutscene.
