Epic Games and their new system is just how Tencent/China taps into the gaming industry outside of China and Asia

Epic supporters don't realize or just don't know that 40% of Epic Games is owned by Tencent. Tencent is a huge Chinese conglomerate and they 100% do not give a♥♥♥♥♥♥about consumers, they love doing things the Chinese way, throw greed and human misery at stuff until they make money out of it. They are worth over 62.5 times more than Epic Games, they are worth even more than ♥♥♥♥ing Facebook and Microsoft. They're worth a little over 500 billion/half a trillion dollars.

They need Epic Games (an American company that is currently extremely relevant because of Fortnite) to be their little Trojan horse so they can monetize the♥♥♥♥♥♥out of the gaming industry OUTSIDE of China. You thought EA was greedy and evil? Tencent is gonna make EA look good.

Steam won't stand a chance against Tencent, it's gonna be up to the consumers to decide. Keep supporting Steam/Valve, a great service that has been around for almost 15 years, or go support the absolutely greedy Chinese corporate giant trying to take over. This Metro ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t was a huge power move by them and definitely a message to Valve. Vote with your ♥♥♥♥ing dollar.
