Disappearing weapon parts/upgrades? (bug)

Ive noticed this many times throughout my 5 playthroughs, its happened on every one so far. This time, Im missing my 8 round clip for the magnum, the long barrel and the 10 round clip for the shambler, x6 scope, green laser attachment and the long barrel and compensator for AR.

Obviously those are all the top-tier upgrades, and some only have one location in the entire game so once their gone, their gone for good.

Idk wtf the deal is with this. Is there some scripted/story thing that makes you lose them, or is it just a bug? Has anyone else experienced this?

Do they disappear during and after Taiga? If so, dismantle all your weapons on Summer so you keep them when your inventory gets wiped.

It's a bug. I've had it happen multiple times swapping different sights for my guns. A couple times i've noticed it and reloaded my save, and then i didn't lose the upgrade when doing exactly the same thing again.

Other times i've not noticed and had to wait till i collected another one of the missing upgrades again.

There was no specific repeatable thing causing it on each time it happened to me.

I lost some upgrades always after a train level, so I assumed they went into the crew funds as does half of your collected ♥♥♥♥.

Some of the upgrades fit multiple weapons and only can be used in one weapon at a time.
For example if you have two Kalash for some reason you'd only be able to put the Heavy Stock and grip on one of them.

I lost all my upgrades after taiga because i restarted the chapter i think, all my upgrades for weapons are gone and also krest told me duke died when i saved him on the bridge and i cheeked the train i could not find duke now i have to start from the beginning

Same issue. can't believe it messed up dozens of hours of progress and there's no fix for it.

Make sure cloud saves are disabled for this game, it's bugged.

No, it doesn't work. This only works if you're trying to import saves and the game can't because they appear to be corrupted.

This is another issue entirely, the save progress gets altered even though you can load the saves. It's a matter of files being permanently modified.
