Steam deleted my Metro exodus from my library.
I just received a notification saying that my Metro exodus was deleted. Thanks for the scam. i have a screenshot of the message

Show us the message. Did you buy the game from a key site?

Edit: Looks like you did and it was a faulty key

Was it a retail key? Then you have to contact the seller, incl. providing the screenshot.

The ♥♥♥♥ is "1 day retail"? It seems like you got scammed by a third party company / site mate. Steam, nor the game devs have anything to do about it.

Don't think I will buy the game from deep silver at full price when it returns here, so many issues with it - no exe files, then game crashes, now they invalidated all the keys )) best seller ever

This is why either wait 1 year for steam release or buy it on epic, you a bunch of failures.

Just because I didn't want to wait a year and refuse to buy on epic game store am a failure you make absolutely no sense, the game should have never been removed from steam in the first place

The Steam version of Metro Exodus was available for pre-order until 28 January 2019 directly via the Steam store. No official Steam keys were available to purchase separately; this is still the case now.

All unlicensed keys have been deactivated and activation / download of Metro Exodus without the executable file is no longer possible. In addition, the software will be removed from the Steam library of any players using an unauthorised code.

We strongly recommend you contact the seller who sold you the unlicensed key and demand a refund.

Metro Exodus will return to Steam after 14 February 2020.

That Is absolutely ridiculous reason to literally take everyones keys away from them just because you got greedy and took a exclusive deal with epic we should be able to buy the game anywhere we please with a key or not, I had quite a bit of respect for the company but not anymore.

What they did wasn't wrong. These keys were unlicensed. They could of been stolen or some other stuff. It sucks but next time people need to make sure what they are buying and where they are buying it from

If it's too good to be true it most likely is
