Sam's Story: Missing interaction after leaving Captain

Hopefully that's not too much of a spoiler. I'm stuck while trying to rearm the traps in the building after I leave the building with the Captain (after drinking fermented fish oil...). I rearmed 1-4 no problem, but I can't find an interaction area on the fifth. I've been pixel hunting for 15 minutes, saved & reloaded, nothing. Is there something else I have to do before I can re-arm it?

Perhaps you need a molotov or a pipebomb. Just a guess. I've had several instances in Sam's Story where my interact button just stops working with everything: ladders, picking up items, etc. I had to reload a save to fix the bug. Don't know what exactly causes it, but I noticed it would only happen sometimes after going into the backpack.

corrupted cloud saves go into steam settings and disable it then the game saves on your pc

I couldn't arm it until I turned on my light and saw the number on the wall.

To follow up on this, it's because I didn't have a molotov in my inventory; thanks for the suggestion. I just ran back to the bench at the top of the building and made a few. Sure would have been nice to have some kind of hint in-game that you need & are using molotovs.

It might've been not a very clear hint, but after the captain asked you to arm the traps, he did tell you that he's got only one molotov left, but there are plenty materials downstairs to make more.

That happened to me when I entered into the area where I needed to pick the fuel rod, the electric spider creature. There is a room with stair after the area of crouching . After picking a filter off a table, my interactions just got disabled. I couldn't proceed any further. Now I started all over again and going for Untouchable achievement.
