Losing upgrades after Taiga

I like the infrared laser the best, and it took me a long time to collect one for all three weapons. However after the Taiga level, I've lost two of the lasers and can only equip one of them. Is this intended?

Looks like some of the weapon attachments are intended to be present only in one instance. Green laser, 6x scope e t.c. You can have more, if they all are attached to the weapons you carry, but if they're in your backpack, their number is reset to one.

An example: I had a 6x scope attached to my railgun imported at the start of NG+. I found another 6x scope at Caspian and attached it to my valve rifle. But if I take the scope off from both weapons, only one remains in my inventory. I can attach one back to my weapon and the second isn't availiable anymore.

The same happens with green lasers, infrared lasers e t.c, which is a pity, of course.

Same problem and they haven't fixed it. Hugely frustrating to lose dozens of hours of progress like that.
