so i see it more realistic. does tom have even the codes to activate the missiles? and even if he have them, how long do you think you can run a nuclear submarine without repairs and propper spare parts even if it is russian technology? and who knows, maybe to get united by force is the best chance for the apocalyptic world.
as we have seen, most survivors are ruthless killers and manhunters, thinking only in their little spaces.
yep, i thought that, too.
As Sam put it - "what difference would it make a few more wounds on a dead corpse" (if they fired the missiles). As they say "bounce the bricks". So what?
Tom kept his part of the bargain. Everyone stays alive.
The only part of this DLC that REALLY made me mad was when Sam met up with Klim. Instead of immediately putting a bullet in his head - Sam goes on with this sanctimonious crap about "where I come from guys like you hang". Like there will be a FORMAL court hearing. Gimmie a break! Well, Sam "got it" for his stupidity.
Other than that - one of the BEST of DLC's I've played (about 8 times). The "Two Colonels" I played once. It should have been called "The Other Colonel". Boring repetition: open the door: shoot monster. Go around the corner: shoot monster. Snore. Alternatively, Sam's Story really had some depth. Kudos to the story writer.
The only thing that ruins the experience for me is that on Ranger Hardcore the Checkpoint are terribly placed, other then that i think it probably better then the main game, has more of a metro vibe then the main game.
