Is it really boring?

I was trying to play it couple of times... Levels look awesome but gameplay becomes boring for me. It's funny first hour and that's it.

Yeah. I reached it. And even completed some events. But it's so "plastic" in term of gameplay. Like a B-movie

No, it's not. I can tell. I played 109 hours and got all trophies. It's not boring, it's relaxing and calm.

When you leave the metro.... it doesn't feel like a metro game any more. Well thanks captain obvious I said to myself. Still doesn't change the fact that its not as fun as the other games.

You are right not long... Maybe playing further it would be interesting but just right now only some location are interesting.

Not boring imo. Explore how you want to. Some levels are linear and feel good like the old metro games. But i felt the old metro games were way too linear and boring even though i loved them. If you think its boring and havent played over 2hrs then refund its not for you. Theres a reason this game has 90% positive reviews...

Just got to Taiga, and honestly...it is pretty boring as a Metro game. Yeah, woo open world. Shame it's just as boring as Andromeda's or MGS5's open worlds. Game could be good if it were more linear, but I think it's suffering from open world syndrome, sadly because of this it's only an ok game...and a bad Metro game.

I find it a bit boring. Feels a bit soulless and lacks the charm of the previous metro games.

To explore there needs to be a reason but it's just tedious and immersion breaking, not really much else in videos more boring than wondering around in the hope you might find something interesting, most of the time it's just a little weapon mod and some supplies.

Its no Run&Gun game thats why probably some guys dont enjoy it.

I for myself love it and especially for the open world part.

After playing 129 hrs on Steam version and 60 on epic I have yet to be bored with this game.

It's not very open world at all. STALKER games are open world; this game plays more like open levels. Metro Exodus is linear. "“People ask if Metro is a open-world game, it's not,” Huw Beynon, head of global brand management for publisher Deep Silver tells us emphatically."
