new game plus, no weapons, no gadgets

am I completely f*cked? I think I might have started a new game plus without checking the "all my weapons" option (seriously why tf is it waaay at the bottom of the list? I didn't even realize there was an option), and after starting another with the option checked, I don't have access to anything. Have I lost all my progress?

I'm in the Volga level. I have all the Artyom equipment ( torch light, new gaz mask, etc ) but no all my weapons et equipment... I don't know why :/

Same problem. I've finished the game normally and done everything right to start a new game + with "all my weapons", but I don't get any weapons, upgrades or gadgets that I had at the end of the first play through except vests, helmets and night vision. That's something I guess, but I really wanted to start a new game with a fully upgraded Valve and Bulldog, at the least, but..... and how the hell can this be a bug after a year....

Same bug, I have no guns but all the gear upgrades. I am convinced that this bug happens %100 of the time, unless someone can report a case of having their guns carry over.

I started NG+ and got all my weapons in Moscow. I have now entered Volga. Havent checked the other upgrades, like suites, NVG, but all my weapons (with upgrades) are there. Havent played for 2 weeks now, but will continue playing next weekend.

I see. Well that's good. It does make me want to try again but it takes so long just to reach the point you get your gear testing would take awhile. I might try again though, your post gives me hope that it sometimes does work.

It's a bug with Yermak that has not been fixed for a year, why?...
If when he gives you a pistol, knife and headband torch, you don't have anything when stepping out of the door, then that's it, game over if you wanted "all my weapons". You need to start a new game, not new game+, and finish and then try again, and if again you have no weapons after stepping through the door, bad news. Had this twice now and not happy.

Here is complite save from end of the game, copy this files in save folder, jack out network cable from computer, start new game+, jack in network cable back.

Heads up to anybody who wants to use this save game is to save the user and profile.cfg files you already have and use them to replace those files in the folder Dreamline has provided, otherwise you have his settings for playing the game in Russian. Changing those two files will not affect the saves or being able to finally play a proper newgame +

i am also having problems with my NG+ run ..not all weapons or upgrades carried over from my completed game and bugs i didnt have in my first run ..so this fix sounds great

one question though..
does using this completed game pop any achievos i havent earned yet by myself?
i wouldnt want to loasd up this save file and have half a dozen achievos pop that i didnt earn

It doesn't effect any of your completed trophies, or alter your progression on ones were you have to get a certain score.

one last question...
when is the EARLIEST part of the game that i can see if i got all 10 weapons and upgrades?
just want to know if the above fix worked and carried over all weapons to NG+
In Moscow or Volga somewhere?
not interested in even playing a NG+ run if the weapons dont carry over so i don want to play past the part i should have received the weapons... would just be wasting my time

They will be there at the workbench. btw, after you get the pistol and knife from Yermak and get outside the door, you will have a valve, bulldog and helsing, just what you need for getting through the depot.
