I really hope a mod comes out or else i will just ride the boat in the night all the time
It works for me because I like the idea of trekking through a hostile open world and I allow my mindset and playstyle to change according to the problem in front of me. I open the map, decide a general goal (next main objective), and pick a route to capitalize on time spent travelling (exploration, side quests, ect.), and try to clear that route in such a way that I'll never feel the need to thoroughly navigate it again (cut to me bum rushing security checkpoints in Farcry with IED mined cars and cheesing it in the chaos because IDGAF anymore).
Trouble here is maybe you don't have as many options to deal with problems like that (I have only just gotten through Volga so IDK yet).
If you've a stubborn sense of propriety in play style (and believe me, I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stubborn about certain things in how I play games) you'll only find those challenges a headache.
tho -- I found I can run through/around the beasts.. they get discouraged easily. (normal difficulty)
It's not 're-spawning' as video game vernacular would term it, it's 're-populating', which happens all the time. If you can't deal with this then learn your map. The 'nests' never move so just traverse them. It's easy.
I don't think you know how real world works hahah wtf.
No if you keep shooting a gun every single day at an animal and his nest, they won't be back.
Have you tried using more than 25 IQ?
Also you are comparing normal animals to mutated/radiated animals. How the ♥♥♥♥ do you know they "move in others nest all the time"
No you clearly don't cuz that't not how nature works... but keep making things up and try to sound smart with your "137" IQ hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Imagine thinking you have 137 IQ and thinking animals just repopulate the same nest all the time even tho you shoot at them hahahahahahahahahahahaha
OK, listen up. I wouldn't know about hunting the same location everyday because that's just dumb. A smart hunter deliberately moves around to allow the wildlife to repopulate. Note, in a healthy ecosystem, if for example a burrow is decimated, very quickly something else will move in and it won't necessarily be the same breed of animal that recently departed. A fox might enter a rabbit burrow and it will slaughter everything and if the burrow is suitable it'll stay. If something happens to the fox then something else will take up residence and that could even be rabbits again, believe it not. Animals are simple. Most of them work on the assumption that if their head fits in a hole then it's worth investigating. Truth is, in the animal kingdom there are always the homeless. Packs, nests etc regularly evict the unwanted. Males grow too big for the alpha's liking, there are the weak and infirm, and every year millions of young are ejected into the world to survive on there own. And their homes aren't brick and mortar, they break and collapse. The search for suitable accomodation is relentless, 'that's how nature works'.
btw, maybe the monster respawns are unfair though I don't think so, as far as I'm concerned we have maps and memories to deal with it.
I love people who act superior and think they are smart but incoherently rambles a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they think is facts hahaha.
The fact that you can't follow a simple train of thought is indicative of your intelligence.
The fact that you continue to fall back on childish derision is indicative of your maturity.
The fact that you continue with your puerile nonsense is indicative of your mindset.
That 'dic' word keeps popping up doesn't it?
Have fun with your pud because I suspect it's your best friend. Good luck.
Apologies OP, vulgarity was uncalled for so I've fixed it.
You've got to admit though, 7 days grace from censorship is pretty cool.
Thank you moderators and Merry Christmas to you all.
As for those of you who followed this thread:
"No if you keep shooting a gun every single day at an animal and his nest, they won't be back.."
Wrong. If you keep shooting at an animal but never hit it, it'll learn to ignore you because it's not getting hurt, which means you're not a threat, which means you're just an irritant (there's irony). If you shoot to kill then it's dead and there's no coming back but very soon something else will take it's place.
You need to understand something here, animals don't have some sort of bush telegraph system warning each other about the proverbial murder house at #5. They don't sit around with binoculars and walkie-talkies checking the action and passing info to their cohorts either. They also don't write memoires, wear shoes, drive cars or go on intergalactic journeys. Do you know why? Because they're animals.
and here:
"Also you are comparing normal animals to mutated/radiated animals. How the ???? do you know they "move in others nest all the time""
A good point. Why would I compare pretend animals against real world animals? What was I thinking? But the alternative is pretend against pretend.
Video games are written by people and everything within video games is modelled around real world knowledge so it's a safe bet to assume that a game animal will behave, within reason, like a real animal.
and here:
"Don't smell too much of your own farts there buddy."
I don't know this expression but I'll assume you're implying that I think I'm better than some people. If that's the case then you're absolutely right. Well done. Pay attention now.. I'm nearly 60 years old. I'm smart, articulate, reasonably healthy and I've lived a good life full of adventure. At my age you don't have many doubts. I don't think I'm better than some people, I know it. I also know some people who are better than myself and I'm proud to say some are friends. That's one of the ways we learn and grow. I suggest you try it because you might actually like it.
My advice to you is get out into the world and get yourself educated. Have fun.
