AS for her as a character: she underdeveloped in Last Light but Exodus handled her way better.
This
Second, she reminds you to "not to go shooting first" which is a THEME in the game (good ending) playing stealth. I played VOLGA and TIAGA without killing anyone (and only a few knockouts). Even in the Dead City level, you can avoid most monster gorillas (BLIND) by sneaking around & throwing tin cans. The exceptions are the one grabbing you on the ladder & and the ending.
Third, keep in mind the MIDDLE-OF-THE-ROAD marketing aspect of this game. Extremes (left & right) will HATE this game - and any forum I visit have narcissists who will vomit all over most everyone's thread, drawing ATTENTION to themselves and side with the worst villain of the game to get the attention they crave (bad childhood). Too bad Steam doesn't have an IGNORE feature. For the rest of us: consider the psychological aspects that appeals to most players (who are guys in their mid-20s). Loyal & pretty wife. 6-year old Nastya who stole my heart. Then save-the-damsel-in-distress. So we are SUPER heroes -- knight in shining armor!
