Who says there is gonna be a redux and not just an update later on? They made the first redux for 2033 with stuff from last light. So you probably have to wait for tue next game to come out then

I have both 2033 and Last Light.

I refuse to pay the 40 bucks to get the Redux versions of either.

I will wait them out this time.

I already owned the vanilla version of 2033 and 2034 so I got the Redux versions without having to pay for it.

Purchased the first in 2011 and the second in 2013. Redux came out in 2014.

hi op, i don't have the redux versions of the metro games either, but I still really enjoyed them. I will get this game when it is in my price range, I don't really give a ♥♥♥♥ about added lighting effects.

I have an amd card and the only game breaking bugs I had with either game was if nvidia ♥♥♥♥ was on, like physx.

I'm sorry OP but what the ♥♥♥♥ are you smoking? The only game that has a difference between redux and vanilla is 2033. Last Light and LL Redux are pretty much the same games.

They are already pushing the new engine. So I doubt there is a need to wait. You may want to update your vid cards to take advantage of the ray tracing maybe. If you got the chingo. ;p

I owned both games. When the Redux versions were released I was given the option to download the Redux versions for free. Which I did. That was case for everyone.

Also, once the Redux versions were released, the original version were taken off from Steam.

Were the Redux versions free for owners of the originals? Don't remember that happening. But Im not saying its not true...
What I can see is that I bought the Redux bundle that had both games for 6.99€. For me thats a real bargain.

What I can see is that I bought the Redux bundle that had both games for 6.99€. For me thats a real bargain.

same here, bought the redux version for 7 euros and I found those games too good for that price so I'm gladly paying 85 euros for this one.
