is Karma system as bad as it was in Last Light?
I have finished 2033 with exactly the way I want which means you had to choose the ending at the last moment.

But in Last Light you have this garbage Karma system. The reason I call it bad because it all mixed. Most of the time its either bugged which do not count the good you did or if you do one bad karma, your whole game gets nuked

You're not supposed to be knowledgeable of the karma system. You're supposed to make the choices with the freedom of not knowing the consequences as to not influence the decision making process.

You will get what your deserve.

Unfortunately that system is not working as its supposed to be then. All the good that you are doing and being rewarded crap at the end is not fun. There are many examples of people doing tones of good but gets crap in return.

So yeah is it as same bad as it was in Last Light?

It works fine, you cannot just choose your ending, this is not Mess Effect.

I dont think the karma system is meant to be a mechanic as much as a storytelling method. In Metro: Last Light, doing unpreferable, selfish or arrogent actions will teach the little dark one that humanity is not worth preserving or forgiving. If you show ultimate forgiveness and understanding by restraining your use of the rifle and giving mercy to others who are struggling, he will help humanity in its time of need. Keep in mind, these games are based on novels and a significant portion of the original purpose of the series is to explore questions of morality and judgement, not instantly reward Artyom for donating to poor people or not offing Paval

I do not think you understood what I said.

There are people including me who finished the game by doing non lethal, helping the poor, forgiving those such as pavel etc. and somehow still got the bad ending.

I do not hate the Karma system.

I should rephrase it.

Is Karma system as broken as it is in Last Light?

I finished the game 3 times now including both endings. It's not broken.
The visual good/bad "flashes" were kind of broken at release but they fixed that in the Ranger Update.
If you do a nonlethal run in Exodus it's impossible to get the bad ending.

I actually found it hard to get the bad ending. You have to do some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥ to get it
