But it could be based on the good ending where Artyom survives too.
Last Light was based on the bad ending of 2033. And Exodus is based on the good ending of Last light.
What are the 3 endings? I know only about 2.
and he is the protagonist of the next game.
don't want to trigger anyone off and i appreciate 4a for this game but it should stop here with a third dlc or another game at most.no need to keep it going forever.
I loved it.a good survival game in a post apocalyptic world but it kind of lost its touch regarding to other games.
it had no supernatural except the end(makes sense from what khan said in the last games),the outside was not so spooky anymore,no radiation everywhere, can craft filters on the run, demons were not the tough ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you couldn't run from like in the older games and you could always find another route, not getting forced to go through creepy abandoned apartments with those slime creatures from the novel you can hear in last light behind the doors.
3rd game was a good ending to his story but the idea i suggested down could be the icing on the cake to a whole gaming story(up to whoever reads-some may agree some may not).it could be an expansion to the game like dying light the following was to the base game hell i'd pay 30 -40 for it.or a 4th game.but they need to stop.the lore and mistery of metro is better while underground in a small confined space with tense short times above where confrontation has very few ways to be avoided and is very hard and clustered.that is what made it special and what kind of burned most people out of the 3rd game even if it was good.
so here we go:
Can't find my old topic i posted this on but i'll try to recreate it as best as i can:(the exact suggestion i made like more than 3 months ago).we found baikal.the railroad is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the way back.don't wanna go to radiation ghost city aka novo, don't want to pass a nuclear waste collapsing dam,a cave in,an irradiated area surrounding a goverment bunker with starving cannibals or those sexy fanatics with their torch fears and electricity overdue bill anymore.why not take the railway around?we go back to moscow from the other side of the country.explore the continent .go to main russian cities or small villages.meet new people, find new areas.old classic guns+new ones and factions.we need good ones that you'll think like no i don't want to go around killing all of these guys they are hardcore and have a brain so they don't just stand in the open and decide to die easily.we should also have a good mix of linear and open world here(like even number-not the few ones we had in here, but not between each level.like a linear forest level to capture food and find fuel just to find a bandit camp and get a bunch of tasks to finish in another linear part before heading off to the big open area maybe).
Karma would be still here.
In the end you would manage to reach moscow and force your way in with the absolute unit the aurora is since hansa has their other armored train in scraps and the cars don't have enough firepower to stop the plating from novosibirks.get hansa to listen to reason since only the higher ups know it.get their specops units killed after trying to kill the outsiders and the common people lynch the watchers and higher up who played them like a damn fiddle(sorry i had to use the mgs5 reference)(they could find some way to arm up their train like the one hansa had.convince the reds and nazis + hanza soldiers to actually come with you and stop being a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killing each other underground for the benefit of a few people high up on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ corporate chain.(up to them how we do it).then we start heading to baikal and maybe surrounding areas since the general area was fine.we could find a more diverse settlement a few kms from baikal that could house more people for example.
Bad karma could result in a bad returning trip happening and ending with a big loss of people or a bad confrontation in moscow which ends up making you lose more people, while the good karma and different choices you made could somehow have reached around and helped you in the end in there to convince the people to join together and help evacuate both civies and military out of the metro to a safe route to the train(need lots of wagons)so you can reach baikal
also we could pick up people from the towns we pass.
exodus started on the good ending because artyom listened to khan and has done stuff like spare pavel, lesniesky, try to explore around, not steal or kill without reason and try not to go all guns blazing(aka karma points in game).this tells us that he has learned, matured and also progressed.that is why in the bad ending you get that talk with khan like a lecture where he asks you if you didn't learn anything from all that happened and didn't have patience(reminding you of the last 2 games and how they turned out).since he earned forgiveness in ll(which is done by doing a lot of these things)we can only assume that his moral compass is still intact and the good ending would be cannon here
like he is just the main character and anna's husband, how the hell do you want a game to continue with anna and artyom not being there.. i can understand Millers death but artyom no man just no.. i just want another metro game with artyom and anna as the main leaders of the aurora and the crew together
I'm a very huge fan of the books and games. I also own Exodus. Butter since I have the physical Aurora Edition, I'm stuck with an Epic key. But I wait for the Steam release.
