*Sigh* As the otherone noted, Artyom isn't dead. There are two endings with one of them being classed as the TRUE Ending of the Metro series, however there's words that Exodus MIGHT have a starting piece to re-continue both Endings, which I doubt as we all know Artyoms alive. I will not spoil the true ending, but the true ending is Artyom being alive.

Thus, Artyom chasing the ground again in Exodus.

Wait, a minute I thought Arty was dead 2 --lmao. But, seriously thought we would be playing his son (that would have been bad azz). Artyom is resilient and is known for being such --he is the bridge between the physical and meta-physical realms and must cope and now he gets some real AAA eye candy to run around in blowing stuff up and away --praise the Metro!

Last light is the sequel to 2033, as in it's supposed to happen after it chronologically, but they each have 2 endings (did 2033 have 3?). But both endings are generally reffered to as the "Good" or "Evil" ending. This comes from what ending you get being based on choices throughout the game.

Though as noted, the game canon is that they follow the bad ending for the first game and the good ending for the second. Artyom is I believe being built into another long term character, to fill our hearts with post-apocalyptic bad assery for years to come.

In canon, Artyom survives D6 in the book of Metro 2035. He is suffering from minor radiation poisoning, though I doubt this will be an effect in the game however.

He doesn't suffer it (in the first 9 chapters,where im at now, atleast it doesn't) everyone is just concerned over him suffering it

Artyom does not die. In Last Light the final that counts is the good one. Do not eat your head. Artyom is alive.

- Not killing. You can sneak past them.
- Finding Notebooks
- Sparing Pavel, Scared Soldiers, etc.

Very true what you say, there are people who believe that the character we control is the son of Artyom. And it is not like that. It's Artyom, although if they want to make the bad ending, they do not have a problem for me. But the real ending is when Artyom survives.

2033 also has just two endings. If you unlocked the good ending, you can just decide if you want to have the good or bad ending. If you unlocked the bad ending, you´re forced to have this one.
