So in what order do the games and books do happen?
So I'm replaying and reading these things, but I'm not exactly sure whats the chronological order.
I have recently bought Metro 2035 book (not started reading it yet) and thought it was like book version of Last Light, but apparently its not? Is it after Last Light or is LL non canon in the books?

So is the right order Metro 2033(game/book) -> Metro 2034 -> Last Light & Metro 2035 -> Exodus

Novels: 2033, 2034, 2035

Games: 2033, Last Light, Exodus

2034 is a side story that follows Hunter
Last Light happens somewhat after the timeline of 2034

I'm told Exodus will continue after Last Light/2035 but may also contain some 2035 novel content in the game.

The books and games are completely separate continuities.

That is going to make 2035 even more depressing if Last Light in seperate storyline.
Based on the E3 trailer Exodus is set after 2035

The new trailer gives more similarities to the 2035 novel than ever before.

it goes 2033 game/ book- 2034 book- Last light- 2035 book and Exodus.
Exodus seems like it has content from the book in it

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. As written above: books are separate, game are separate. Games evolve and simplify original story.

So the books and games aren't completely separate

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Most part of the Last Lighr story in nowhere in books, only some details in 2035 and there is a short story "Last angel" if I remember correctly.

Book 2035 was horrible. Waste of money. 2034 was ok. Only 2033 is worth reading
