opal farming

it wasnt exactly a thing in ty 1 for obvious reasons
ty 2 had some levels that where just insanely loaded with opals even the hub world was.
but ty 3 seems to lack that? a lot of misions involve bunyips or the gunyip or racing and don't allow for much effective grinding of opals to buy lots of stones & the chassis.
anyone know a level or location thats great for opal grinding?

spam the race near patts opal den. its fast, short and pays out 1000 rubs perwin, i was able to get alot out of racing compared to roming around, another fast way is to do Timed Arena battles

Opal grinding isn't hard. If you pay attention, everytime you fight quinkan with your combos, the mutiplier increases. So use your weakest rang and keep fighting them. I got the multiplier all the way to 20 and it adds up quick. The second arena battle is a good way to get some.

u can really cheese the game using that. its so bull sh!t easy, i refuse to use the " tap with delay to hold the combo at 20 and stun-lock quin's"

Here’s what I did. Really simple opal farm, and I’m not even sure how many you get from it. Somewhere between 5k-10k. Cinder Canyon. There’s a TON of pricey opal bags here. You’ll need at least one Warp Stone, and one Earth Stone. There’s a bunch of 500 Opal Bags, one 1000 bag, and one 3000 bag. Just run through, grab all of larger bags, and grab all the opals you can from enemies. I recommend looking up a guide somewhere for this area, as there’s tons of opals. Once you finish running through, head out the exit and back into the Watering Hole. Once you step out of the load zone, turn around and head back in. This refreshes Cinder Canyon, allowing for another haul-in of opals. Rinse and Repeat.
