Loved all the past games though.
Don't forget thet in the first five minutes of the first game we introduce, mystical beings, giant robots, boomerang throwing animals and magical portals. I think we set the tone for the whole series pretty early on.
with giant robots

super NORMAL
As an example this is part of the beginning
Elder guy says "you need this glove to fight the enemies, there is a guy guarding it waiting for you" *you get the glove* Ty: "who are you?" guy: "I'm the guy that was guarding it waiting for you, go on and there is someone watchin your back in the sky" *Go up a single ramp hallway* bird lady: "I'm glad I managed to catch you guys, ty take this bunyip and sharon come with me" then you finish the tutorial do a training montage of literally nothing but push-ups with the random npcs you talked to once standing there and then it's time to leave because you're strong now.
It just all feels so awkward and rushed storywise and of what I've played it hasn't felt better (though I've only got the 3 guy back into bush rescue at the start) so I don't know. I loved the first 2 games and what the company has done with the ports so I don't mind supporting them on this game (in hopes for that 5th game possibly being made after this port is done) and the story was already made years ago so it'd be a lot work to go back and redo parts of it in this one so whatever. Combat is fun and the rang elemtal stone system seems interesting at least.
Otherwise, all the characters I've ever seen killing quinkans were using explosive weapons.
When you use an explosive boomerang, that's surely a quicker way to defeat a quinkan since, unlike the previous giant monsters in Ty 2, they die instantly.
Exactly because nobody was able to beat them effectively. If only Ty and anybody with a bazooka can kill the Quinkans, then good luck to kill all of them when there are thousands of them crawling around and destroying everything they see.
Hell, the gloves sometimes start to shine nearby quinkans which means that maybe it weakens quinkans to the point where they can die with more ease from anything.
I obviously don't say that they are invincible, they are prone to explosives, but in the end the plot wants that only Ty can confront said quinkans.
They make the gauntlet seem special, yet I'm pretty sure that it only gives Ty the ability to use boomerangs as meele weapons. I'll only give the game that because we see Ridge or Sly using boomerangs as meele weapons. And as for them deflecting boomerangs when thrown, they also deflect the meele attack half the time as well.
Ridge couldn't land a lot of hits, the Quinlans kept on parrying his boomerangs.
About Dennis and Fluffy, let me quote my previous comments:
I will add that it's not like every single character had a bazooka to defend themselves, so the world being taken over would make sense since nothing could effectively kill all Quinkans besides the bazookas.
About Boss Cass, the weapon he is using appears to be relatively powerful on its own. It may have destroyed the Quinking. However, the way it was built and the materials it uses are still unknown to me. The weapon only appeared in Ty 3 and there's no documentation on the weapon anywhere in the game.
My theory is that Boss Cass had shadow stones and he used those shadow stones to make this very special blaster. Again it's a theory, a gaaaaame theory! (amifunnyyet?)
The gloves are meant to have been crafted using ancient power and Ty needs to collect shadow stones and the 3 parts of the shadow chassis to be able to effectively kill the Quinking, hell the shadow chassis is op as hell, it kills all Quinkans in 1 single hit, with the exception of the Quinking.
That being said, I do believe the weapon Boss Cass used was powered by shadow stones or a similar source of power which would explain why it destroyed both the Quinking and Fluffy in one single blow.
About Ken, the game states nowhere that the machinery produced by the Quinkans have the same resistance as the Quinkans themselves.
