Controller not working properly
Running forward or backward won't make Ty go full speed, but going right or left will, any in game settings that can help until the issue has been fixed?

What controller are you using?

Xbox 360, works well with any games exept for this, I've seen the issue before in another game and know why it happens, just gotta wait until hotfix comes out. Just wanted to let developer know so it won't take too long.

I have 360 and dont have this issue. Maybe your controller is defect?

Unlikely, as I already said its just Ty 2 that has this issue because of a deadzone, games like GTA, Gmod, Ty 1, Portal 2, etc. Works normally.

This is weird, because I have a wired 360 controller and it works completely fine.

Exact same problem here. Wired 360 controller, driving me insane had to stop playing.

I haven't been able to repro this yet, with 2 different X360 controllers :(

If there's anything I can do to help. I'd love to see it fixed. I have changed literally every ingame setting. I am playing via Steam Link, I'll try directly on the PC now.

Interesting. I just moved my Xbox Controller to the host PC and it is working fine (Ty still slows down when walking torwards the camera, but that might be intended). No longer slows down while walking forward. Launched the game from both regular view and big picture. Also tested unplugging the keyboard/mouse incase it was interfering with inputs.

So right now this problem, atleast for me, is related to the Steam Link/In-Home Streaming. Not sure if OP is using those too.

EDIT: Just tested while streaming to steam link but with controller connected to host PC, works perfect. So something to do with Steam Link/In-Home Streaming input streaming from the streaming device (Steam Link). To be clear, problem occurs when Xbox 360 Controller is connected to the Steam Link.

Does it help if I say I'm running Windows 7 and mine is the wireless version?

Hmm, I guess it might be the controller since it seems like a common issue. https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/927749-xbox-360/61446778

I'm not so sure. Like I said mine works perfectly fine when directly connected to the PC but the problem comes back when the controller is plugged into the Steam Link. If you're not using in-home streaming it might have something to do with the delay/input loss with wireless? Losing analog inputs due to wireless/in-home streaming?

It would be good if we could, temporaily get a "Do Not Walk" option in-game for now? I don't think the game requires you to ever 'walk' anyway, so a setting that forces full-speed movement would be a quick solution.

I did try Portal 2 and Ty 1 just now, I'm starting to feel its my controller rather than the game. Gonna try PS4 controller now instead and see if I get same issue.

Ty 1 works fine on my end with same controller, I doubt we would both have the identical problem but for one it is a hardware problem and software for the other. I really think the problem lies in Ty2 somewhere.

I just tested Ty2 with PS4 controller, no issue with that, gonna try Ty2 through big picture with xbox 360 controller as well.

Edit1:
Its fully functional now, no movement issues at all... Perhaps its a driver issue, I'll see if there is a newer driver online instead of the version I installed with the disc...

Edit2:
Well, except for the right analog stick and D-Pad, which doesn't work at all in big picture.
