Steam Deck Support

I have been loving ty the tasmanian tiger 1 on the steam deck, but ty the tasmanian tiger 2 sadly crashes on startup, which is why it's rated as not working on the steam deck, even tho it has a gold proton rating. Ty 3 has the same rating so I'm assuming this same issue applies there. Is there any chance of this being fixed?

It used to work on linux, but after a client update a year or so ago, linux steam stopped being able to verify Ty 2/3. Maybe it is confusing them with Ty 1 and messing up the process. They don't work with old Proton versions or Proton-GE, but it does work when you run them off of the windows steam client in Wine. But I don't know who could fix this issue.

It seems that the game crashes after the tutorial segment. If anyone knows how to get past it I wonder if the rest of the game would be playable.

I found that if you get past that first Dennis cutscene on a different device you can actually play the game. However, the game did randmly crash after a few hours and now it won't even boot up

This is fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Good thing the game is so small.

After that successful play session it will no longer launch even after verifying and resetting the install scripts.

I have no idea why It's just miraculously works on the first try with proton next.

Not a false alarm!! Turns out you have to make sure that you do not turn on MSAA but all other settings can be changed just fine and cranked up to the max.

I repeat do not turn on MSAA otherwise the game will not launch and you will have to reinstall
