Copy Save File (Hardcore)

Is it possible to make a backup of my save file?
Just died to the damn 1 hit KO - Rhino of Carnook at 88% complete.... 10 hours game time.

I've made a new save, about 20% in after 45 mins, and I copied the data from
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\75485588\411970\remote
Game 1
I made two more copies and renamed Game 2 and Game 3, but I still only have 1 save file inside the game??
Guessing it used cloud saves or something?

Any way to backup the save incase I stuff it up again?
Can't help the completionist inside me wanting to get 100% achievements even after such a heartache..

Ah I figured it out in the end.
What you need to do is have a save started in each slot first.

So start Normal mode in slot 2,
Skip cut-scene
Save in both 2 and 3.
Then when you copy and rename Game 1 to Game 2 and Game 3 they are duplicated successfully.

Almost three years later but just wanted to say thank you for this, you saved my sanity while doing a Hardcore run. Hope you have a great Christmas!
