Opal Grind

Which is best place for Opals when you done the missions and such? I ned 150k Opals, 75k for the 3rd health upgrade and 75k for Sly's final rang. I not really found a place best for quick opals.

If you do the final level, there is a 3000 opal bag a bit forward from the start and to the left. If you then exit the level and return to the base, you should be able to keep the opals.

In the "Boss Cass Beat-Up" mission, there's a 10,000 Opal bag too! In the area you fight Patchy and Buster, there's a button that you need to hit to make other buttons appear. If you hit each one in time, a door will open. Follow the path to find a bag with 10K Opals.

Edit: seen the door and the buttons but too much hassle even for 10k, just get the 3k bag and repeat it is faster

Thank you for doing this for me though. I was going to have to seperate each screenshot I took into a separate comment. Also, thanks for the backup on the 10K Opal truth. I won't write something that isn't true. ^^

I just wanted to make sure, there is a lack of info for this game and their secrets, heck the first one has walkthroughs of each cog in each level yet this game does not. I wonder if the fandom just couldn't be arsed to do it for the 2nd one or not.

The best way is to spam the opal bags at Wobbegon bay. You need the warperang to get 5900 per ~45 sec which equals 7860 opals/minute. Link here

Cool, I think they added those bags in an update for the steam port version, I don't remember them there in the original. Thanks for informing us of this newer method of grinding!
