Issues starting a new game/deleting autosave file!

So, I came across an issue when I played this game...I messed up and didn't get an item that I needed for an achievement. Well, that'd be fine and dandy if I could start a new game, which I'm unable to do so. The chapter select also didn't show the first two parts, so I was stuck not even being able to go back and get the item I needed. I found the save file for the game, but all that did was wipe out the chapter portion of the game, but my autosave file is still there, so it's blocking me from even being able to start a new game. I've tried turning off cloud save option as well. Can anyone help me with this?
