Error microsoft visual C++ [UPDATE]

Some players have encounter an issue at the launch of the game. This specific message appears : “microsoft visual C++ 2015 Runtime”. We apologize for this issue, we’ve tried to address it and have come up with different solutions. This is a common problem on Steam which comes from Windows. We use Unreal Engine 4 for our game and you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ to run it.

Most of the time, this issue can be resolved either by reinstalling the software or making sure to have updated your Windows.

Please follow these instructions below and let us know if It fixes the problem:

1)

When you download BATTLECREW Space Pirates, a version of Microsoft Visual C++ is included inside our package. Try to reinstall the software following these steps:

- Go on your Steam Library,
- Right Click on “BATTLECREW Space Pirates“
- Choose “Properties”
- Click on “Local Files”
- Click on “Browse Local Files”
- Click on “_CommonRedist”
- Click on “Vcredist” and “2015”
- Install “vc_redist.x64”
- Launch the game

If the first solution doesn’t work, find “Microsoft Visual C++” in your programs on windows. Uninstall it and install it again. Please, use “vc_redist.x64” from our game following the steps above.

If the first and second solutions don’t work, take a look on your Windows Update. You need to have the last update of Windows to run perfectly this programme.

Start by cleaning the repertory "SoftwareDistribution" of Windows :
Stop the WindowUpdate service:
In the search Windows tab, write "Services" > Look for "Windows Update" in the list, right click then click on Stop.
Go to: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and clean the content of this file
Relaunch Windows Update Service and install the updates. Then the easiest is to relaunch the game from STEAM.

If it still doesn't work, find a longer solution below (official Microsoft forum):

1. rename the Spupdsvc.exe file:

2. Reset windows update components:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/971058

3. Rename SoftwareDistribution folder:

In cmd, net stop wuauserv;

Rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder;

In cmd, net start wuauserv.

Bonsoir, et dommage vraiment, malgré toutes les soluces apportées, il me réclame toujours le c++ 2015 donc j'attendrai une MAJ mais je voulais donner une chance à un autre jeu français, rezut

En faisant des tests, nous avons remarqué qu'il s'agit d'un problème de mise à jour Windows qui ne fonctionne pas. Pour le corriger :

Commencer par nettoyer le répertoire "SoftwareDistribution" de Windows :

Il faut stopper le service de WindowUpdate :
Dans la recherche de windows, taper "Services" > Chercher "Windows Update" dans la liste, clic droit puis cliquer sur arrêter.
Aller dans le dossier: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution puis effacer le contenu de ce répertoire
Relancer le service de Windows Update et installer les mises à jour. Le plus simple ensuite est de réinstaller le jeu depuis STEAM.

Si cela ne fonctionne toujours pas, une solution plus longue (forum officiel de microsoft):
