The 4 suspects in the investigation for Yohav
So, I've been doing mainly a kind/logic run and am in Act 3 I think where Yohav asks you to help investigate an assassination, and the missions resulted in me getting 4 suspects. After interrogating them I couldn't think of any definite evidence of guilt and they all seemed somewhat supicious (The last guy was so dumb I figured he might just be pretending). I ended up just picking the one I liked the least (the noble guy) but was wondering if there was something I missed in terms of finding the right guy.

I don't know if there was anything to go on specifically, I just went along with abusing my time power and selected the fourth guy then rewound and selected the lady when that was wrong. For all I know all three of the others had some level of guilt but she was apparently a/the correct choice so I stopped rewinding there
I always chose the second guy, the game said it was the right choice
The only hint about the noble guy is when he says he despises about any commoners who can be a very important official in the government, like the noble. Then when you're asking what he thinks about the deceased guy's ascension, he says that he concedes that he could've done great things and everyone is equal, which is litterally a lie. This is the only lie I've seen from every suspects (except from the dumb guy, he's so dumb that he could've lied every time he speaks without knowing it).
He was the only one who seemed to have a genuine grievance with the murder victim. Of the others, the emissary and the merchant seemed to barely know or care for the guy. The tax guy was mad at the victim, but just because he was uptight about paperwork, not the kind of thing most people would kill over. Meanwhile, the noble had 2 different things that stood out to me: 1, he didn't like commoners in positions of power and the murder victim was a commoner, and 2 (probably the real murder motive) the victim had recently implemented or proposed an anti-corruption law. He phrases the law like it's a good thing but if you pay attention it's clearly a dig at it because he doesn't like it.

In my game it was the woman. I chose her because she seemed too nonchalant about everything and ended up being right. I'm not sure if the culprit is different for different folks

The real culprit is the first one, the accountant. Although they all say somewhat suspicious things, he's the only one who violently looses his temper when you ask the right questions, letting you know he is the only one with both a motive and the temperament. There will be somewhat of a twist later on, but he's the one you want at this point in time. The second guy and the lady are innocents but Enberg's county won't be mad at you for wrongly accusing them. They will be quite pissed if you pick the fourth suspect but you will get an achievement.

That's strange, since I get clairvoyant options confirming the woman's guilt in subsequent NG+ runs, but I'm going to try this this run.

We might not be talking about the same thing. During the lineup of suspects, the omniscient option is only there so you can skip the questions for all four suspects. I think you are talking about Victoria who isn't in this lineup but is indeed involved.

No, I'm speaking of the woman in purple. I picked her, then got the followup quests to find the assassin.

Yes, you don't get locked out of them. The only one who gets you a failure is the fourth guy. You get an achievement and Enberg doesn't ally with you.
