Controller does not work

So this game use to have controller support before now after a steam update it does not work. I have tried ticking every option in controller support to see if controller get's detected and nothing works. I have even tried an actual xbox controller and it doesn't work. I have read that if you load the game through the folder exe it will work but it does not work for me. The only option seems to be getting the community version, which i have and it works perfect but i would like to play my steam version please. Can anyone help me with this because i don't think we need to wait for a steam update to get this work, and if we do, that sucks.

This game is a mess anymore to have controls work . People download a community version that runs better and you can set the controls.

I bought the game today and my joystick wasn't recognized. I made it worked by doing this manipulation :
Library Steam -> MELTY BLOOD AACC -> right click -> Properties -> Controller-> Disablle Steam Input

This worked for me I had tried doing the opposite after PSO2 windows 10 controller issues.

I downloaded it on my higher spec pc and left everything on default and had no issue i think on pcs with lower ram ya need to turn it off because steam is jus so memory heavy it wouldnt even take me out of desktop mode till i turned it off and force closed steam input thru task manager on my lower spec but this game is also designed for arcade contols so a square gate stick or solid dpad is strongly reccomended analog sticks are terrible ate registering input (df ,fdf,bdf) its like ryu splashed in vasaline juse have a good dpad or stick or else jumping in is useless and you will basically have impossible special moves unless u spam like a noob
