Switch port??

I just got the switch lately and there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of fighting games.. This is probs one of my favorite fighting games lately and a port would be so d@mn amazing! Any of you see this happening in the future?

As if. As much as I love the game, this just won't happen. Game too old, dated graphics, support dropped a long time ago, etc.

You may have more chance hoping for a port of UNIST, and even that is unlikely.

Nah, I sure love the game but it's already too old dude, The MB arcades here at Japan is also now decreasing rapidly. Sad but that's the fate of some old games.

A Melty Blood HD would be welcome, maybe with the 25th anniversary of French Bread that could happen.

Acording with Siliconera, French Bread was recruiting battle planners, battle programers and 2D dot-graphic designers.

I'd love a new Melty Blood with HD sprites in Switch with a bigger roster.

Yea I would love a HD remake too! And such fast paced combat on the go! I lust for a good fighting game on the switch right now .-.

Yea you have a point but I mean a lot of other fighters are getting ports! We have some SNK stuff, NEOGEO so like KOF 03 and samurai showdown 2! So idk maybe if the right people get their hands on things 🤔 I can hope at least

It’s so sad! :( but yea you’re right that’s usually how things go, wish I could fund a port myself! I’d probs pay 20-30 for a good remaster. Hopefully we get something similar on the switch. Guilty Gear is supposed to come at some point :/

1+. Only "fighting" games I really own on switch is smash brother ultimate I played blaz blue cross tag and its imo the worst game in the series. I'd like them port this this to switch

I would love this to be on switch sooooo bad! there are quite a few lovers of fighting games in the switch community its a bit surprising!

arc system works put a better guilty gear plus r port on the switch but i guess french bread is a smaller team

I'm not sure if Nintendo users are really playing fighting game outside of Smash... I mean there's little to no ftg exclusive to the console...

Hey, don't sound too down on it, fam. We have UNICLR around the corner (Maybe), and it's coming to switch, so that's a good thing.

You'd be kinda surprised, well from my point of view anyway. BBTAG is pretty good, although it's a constant 70 players on the online lobby, and on the discord people are asking to play on switch together. Not sure about BBCF, but i know some Nintendo peoples know what's going on in fighting games.

Since my comment I bought Garou Mark of the wolves (ACA Neogeo) on the Switch and it's gorgeous to play with my SNK arcade stick.

I plan to get some KoF game during the sales

My only worries is about the online (which is infamous on the Switch, this is why I barely play online on it)

Yea I get what you mean! I love all the classic fighting game love the switch has been getting if Melty and Arcana hearts get a port I'd be complete

It's funny reading stuff like this in the future. MB had a huge tournament recently and is still extremely active; though not on steam, since the steam version sucks. Unist actually was ported, and the new Melty Blood is coming out for Switch soon.
