Online/Co-op Issues: No One can get it to Work!

Title Question:
With friends? LAN, Online?
Just curious, this is an Old Favorite.
And a friend and I have put many hours into it and would like to again.
But it seems there's a lot of freezing up going on whenthe Online Game starts.

I just wanted to know if anyone has been successful plaiying online in any way?
Love this game and hope the issue is resolved. Happy to see it on Steam; I hope it doesn't go to waste.

My friend and I still haven't been able to get co-op to run properly. Has anyone? There's been so little activity on the discussion board I feel like they got the game out on Steam and stopped caring. It's a bummer.

yeah I think our issue, no matter how we connected was that we could get into the lobby, set-up the game, enter the game. Then on the first/any cutscene the game would freeze. And we'd get whatever note about " waiting for player" or "host" or something. Also from the few other posts I've seen the cutscenes appear to be the point where everyone freezes up in Online Play.

We bought this game exactly for the great coop experience. But we can't start it either. Anyone who got this game working in coop missions?

I am sorry to say I have never found any info on this or anyone that was able to get it going. Please let me know here if you do find anything. I've always intended to do the same but no answers yet. I figured it was a matter of time before someone modded a patch or a work around was found. I also thought surely by now the Dev's or Rights owners would have addressed this in some way. It WAS a great selling point for the game.

Sorry to ruin the fun.

Ah, bummer. I recall it had so much co-op-fun. Looks like a wasted nostaliga oppertunity, dropped just before the finish line for the Panzer publisher and devs. Thanks for letting me know Opt_0!

I'm just curious if you guy ran into the same issues when loading up Co-op? When we tried everything would work up until any opening cutscene for the mission, then it would hang up on the cutscene and that would be it.

This is what always made me think someone would make a work around. Seems like if you could just cut out the effort to play the cutscene it would have run fine.

Was it the same issue for you guys?

Поключение через LAN. Мультиплеер работает, но Кооп зависает с сообщением "Ожидание передачи данных от хоста". И это проблема не Стимовской версии. Это проблема Версии 1.25. На 1.08 КООП работает. Если кто занет решение проблемы 1.25, поделитесь.
Пока что, решение проблемы, играть в версию 1.08.

Connection via LAN. Multiplayer works, but Co-op freezes with the message "Waiting for data transfer from the host". And this is not the problem of the Steam version. This is a problem with Version 1.25. On 1.08, the co-op works. If anyone finds a solution to the problem 1.25, share it.
So far, the solution to the problem is to play version 1.08.

Lol, glad to know other crave this old co-op to work. I still do.
It was such a fun little Tank RTS. I really do miss it!
(I know there are others... I play many. Just you know... you get that oldie stuck in your head and you need to play it again.)

I found the solution for co-op to work, you need to download WIN64bit Patch (which will install a 1.10 EXE somewhere and replace it). It will fix projectiles visual bug too. Hope it will work for you.

Это хорошее решение, на самом деле 1.10 отличается от 1.20 только EXE-файлом. Но лично я не встречал NoCD-exe для версии 1.10. Можете ли вы дать ссылку?

This is a good solution, in fact 1.10 differs from 1.20 only by the EXE file. But personally I have not met a NoCD-exe for version 1.10. Can you give a link?
