Save file won't load?

Halfway through Part 2 and now the game won't load my save. I've even tried Ctrl+O and pointing it towards my save file in the AppData folder, but it just says unable to load Sorcery save date from that file. It's definitely the right file, however. What gives?

Go into the options menu and use the "Send Feedback" option to report this to Inkle. I would also suggest posting in the troubleshooting thread here.

I decided to view the JSON file in Notepad++ and it was full of nothing but NUL. Corrupt save file?

Quite possibly, report it to Inkle in every way you can.

Hi! Windows developer here. I'm really sorry to hear it zapped your progress, I thought that problem had been resolved.

Can you email us the .log files from %APPDATA%\inkle\Sorcery so I can take a look?

The "support & troubleshooting" has more details on useful steps you can take. I'm afraid you probably won't be able to recover your progress, though, from the sounds of it.
