Lastly, it wasn't as hard and it showed a good level of progression. HammerFight killed it when they decided to add guns and armor that can cover the whole ship.
Some of the guns are absolutely bonkers though, especially when combined with armor, like in the arena, where you can't tell what's going on until you die because of 10 bombs exploding at the same time and knocking you into a wall. The game would have been a lot better with guns and explosives having more of a supportive role, doing knockback and removing armor, instead of completely pulverizing you. Dual weapons become slow and hard to swing as a tradeoff, which makes them suboptimal, though still very fun.
