The mod packs already have many of the common patches installed, but if you want to add more just run the MoO 3 patcher from the game directory. Sometimes you have to locate the MoO 3.exe by clicking Browse. "Status" tells if the feature is installed or not, "Dll" if the feature requires MoO3.dll.
cheers!
Thanks!
ok, since you legally own MoO3, as I can see by your Steam ID, the solution your looking for can be found at another website. Since I am not permitted to write the url here, type the following words into your browser, and you should find what you need:
World Game NOCD Copy
I used this solution myself, and the game works fine. Just make sure you match the game versions, otherwise you might get an error.
Good Luck.
Not only did they fix most of what was broken, but really made it possible to see there were some really good ideas that the developers had but were totally unable or not allowed to finish/implement.
I had a lot of fun with MoO3 after the mods were built.

(just downloaded it)
I still enjoy MoO3 significantly! I just don't play on too big a map due to the micromanaging that I do.
I also used to have a different version of MOO3 that wasn't on Steam, so just start over with your Steam one and build the .exe patches on it carefully to be successful. There's 32 galaxy types on Tropical as it is (wherever it's at again, I think the MOO3 Guardian) [relevant]. It's not too complicated aside from figuring out some of those variables. Even then, you can guess.
I think I went with 16 defensive bases per planet and 16 fleets per battle, also.
There is many legacy games with great mod that are simply so hard to get to run on steam
Elderscroll Oblivion : mod OOO3
Europa rome : mod ROA
X3: XRM
Also if Steam's main mods don't like it, they can just simply package the damn thing with the game's download, considering they'd probly have the system-wide authority to do stuff like that.
Is there any patch or mod that does change that?
