MOO 2 multiplayer.

Does anyone want to attempt to play moo 2 in a online multiplayer game with me? I have played hotseat before with a few others but I am wondering if anyone would like to set up a lan or online game with either the GOG or steam port. We can play lan games online using a think called hamatchi and we could play a game. It will be quite difficult to get set up but I am sure we can find a way. Reply if you want to play add me and we can figure something out.

I do! I also know another person who does. That makes a 3 player game minimum. Sending you a friend request. I already host games through the gog version that uses dos box, it doesn't get any easier than that!

Edit: @ frazy76: Awesome of you to post the network multiplayer guide for the steam version. Dos box is the easiet and best way to go especially if you have the gog.com version.

i do but cant get it to run, this was my favorite game as a kid, dosbox simply says it stopped working, ive been troubleshooting for hours

That's the version I use 1.40 b23. I can walk you through multiplayer & we can play a game, possibly with some other fellas too. The last time I played before finding moo2 on gog last fall was a month or so after 9/11. Look forward to seeing you soon. There can only be one Master of Orion!
