Alt+enter in dosbox doesn't work anymore

I'm trying to play MoO, and it worked great for years, but now, suddenly, when the game loads up in it's tiny dosbox window, Alt+enter doesn't make it go to full screen. It flashes fullscreen, then disappears to the windows task bar. I can click on it, and it will show up in the tiny dosbox window again, but it's unplayable like that.

I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but nothing changed.

Any suggestions?

I REALLY appreciate you taking the time to reply. Unfortunately, your reply doesn't really mean anything to me.

1. I can find dosboxMOO1 and dosboxMOO1_single config files under the steam MoO directory, but there's another subdirectory for dosbox with config and application files, and I have no idea which one I am supposed to change, or WHAT I'm supposed to change it TO.

2. I don't mind the game opening in the 320x240 window as long as I can use alt+enter to make it larger, but for some reason it doesn't work.

3. It doesn't explain why it worked yesterday morning, and yesterday afternoon, it didn't. I'd like to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled MoO. Do I need to uninstall dosbox separately, or does Steam make it part of the MoO download?

hmm..... to check, I downloaded MoO2. Fresh download on this computer, and I'm having the same issue. Don't know what that means, but thought it might have some significance.

When you open that dox box config file, there is a line "full screen=no "
change it to full screen=yes ( use wordpad to open that file )
