Mion is the only main character who never kills or turn psychotic in the entire series, possibly including Rika to some extent.
Lol, you think so?
If you actually read Meakashi you would know the reason;
On the general forum only spoilers from the current chapter are allowed when spoiler tagged. Spoilers of future chapter go into the Spoiler Discussion sub-forum.
I came on here after completing Chapter 2 hoping to avoid spoilers. Great.
You posted it under the discussion for Chapter Two so I expected it to be ABOUT Chapter Two. You should have clearly labelled it as a spoiler for future chapters or not posted it in the general thread at all.
The solution would have been if the Opening Poster had read the Spoiler Guidelines and created his/her thread in the correct sub-forum.
Also MangaGamer could have moved this thread to the correct sub-forum, I have already reported this thread ages ago.
EDIT: The thread has finally been moved.
Did you guys notice that the day after the switch was made, Shion's theme song from the cafe plays when we see 'Mion' coming to school?
We also have subtle hints about who is who based on the Satoshi. In episode 1, Mion was sad to see him 'transfer', but in episode 2, Shion is angry that he 'transfered'. When 'Mion' was shaking the ladder and talking about Satoshi, it should have given away who she really was if anyone was thinking rationally at the time.
To be fair, I completely missed these clues on my first go, as I was primed to think of supernatural causes instead of natural ones.
Getting back to the discussion at hand, I think the most rational explanation is that Mion was broken at that point, and ready to do whatever Shion wanted her to do, letting her be 'Mion' as much as she wanted to be.
It's very tragic.
