Will the Kizuna arcs be translated?

I know this probably has an obvious answer but... I need to ask anyway: Will the four new arcs that were included in the Alchemist DS version of Higurashi be part of MangaGamer's future translation? I noticed that MangaGamer is taking on the project of translating "Higurashi Hou", not "Higurashi Sui", so the inclusion of the Kizuna arcs are highly unlikely since Hou only includes the original question arcs, Kai, Rei, and the new arcs in Hou. Sui is the one that has the Kizuna arcs AND the Matsuri arcs (man, I would love me some Suiiii).

That being said, I would really hope MangaGamer (or just any fan translator for that matter) would consider translating the four original arcs from Kizuna, namely Someutsushi-hen, Kagebōshi-hen, Tokihogushi-hen and Kotohogushi-hen. At least two of the arcs reveal important background info on the main characters, namely Rena and Hanyu. It would be such a shame if MangaGamer decides to ignore the Kizuna arcs just because it's in competition with Alchemist.

If MangaGamer doesn't want to translate those arcs out of spite or competition, however, then I beckon any interested parties to consider this proposition in the future. The Kizuna arc fan-translation has been dropped for a long time. Now that Hou is being translated, maybe this would be a good time to pick it up again, eh? :)

No... Due to the fact that the DS version wasn't made by Mangamer, the structure is completely different, with branching paths and the like. Also the assets were completely redone and wholely owned by the people who made it.

You've probably already seen this, but 07th mod has done translations of almost all the Sui arcs, the only ones that aren't finished yet are Kotohogushi and Hajisarashi.

Yep, I've learned of it after I've applied the 07th mod recently. Thanks for the info. Glad that it's finally translated!
