Can't Switch Characters?

So playing with a controller, I have tested the Left Trigger on about 10 different games, works fine everytime, no issues. During this game there are times in missions where I can push it a thousand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times and it doesn't register? Or I simply can't change characters? It makes certain missions annoying when you have 10-15 sub bosses standing infront of you, and you can't switch characters to actually use their tension gauges, because the AI is the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen in my life.

Anyone else having this issue or is it just me?

happened to me once, made me stuck with Aurora for the rest of the map. after finish the map and start new one, I can switch character again.

It's happened to me on several occasions now, it's really quite annoying. =/

Did you Alt+Tab during battle? If so, pressing Tab key again on keyboard will fixed it.

I didn't alt+tab during the battle, I did during that play session, I'll have to try that next time it happens though, thanks for that if it works.

Just wanted to say thank you. I started playing this game recently, hit alt-tab while playing, and was starting to go insane. Thanks for posting this three years ago.
